Yes!! Hogga is one of my favorites! I was just hoping she would come back into the story. *Happy Dances*
Atta girl, Hogga!
Yay! Go <strike>Princess</I> <I>Queen</I> Hogga!!
And good to see Nike again
Yay! Hogga is back!
Love the look on Hogga’s mother’s face in panel 7. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the military was loyal to Hogga, and not the rest of that royal family. I wonder if the rule will skip to her. After all, gaining the crown through deposing your predecessor (violently if necessary) even if they are a relative is far from unheard of among her kind. Also, much as happened with Maula, if she does achieve victory against some of the Rannites, it will go a long way to convince her own people that perhaps she should be in charge.
She looks like that because her eyes are pale (white iris rather than the typical black), it just looks like she is hypnotised because the panel border and speech bubble are partially obscuring her eyes
I look at those Bird Bimbo Boobs and realize now why I always liked white meat vs legs and thighs.
KFC needs to BioEngineer THESE kinds of chickens!
I could LUB my chickens and eat ‘em too!
Baste them in your own special white sauce? o_O
The really disturbing part for me ist the "eat" after the "deed" here, sauce included. Yeerrgh. But well, everyone has their own tastes and fetishes i suppose.
I’ve always felt that basting was wasting!
There are two ends to a cloaca – so use one!!
Go Hogga!! Always liked her.
Also that does Maula gains between 9,000 to 13,500 hobgoblin reinforcements (if we’re using the Roman legion as a basis) and proof that she still has an ally in the Goblin Lands.
Coupe’ de Hog?
That is one heck of a nice fortress the Hobgoblins made for themselves…. or did they just ‘find’ it?
Yes, good for Hogga! Runtherd was right to offer her a place in his Palace, she has more Honor and courage in her little finger than the rest of her family does put-together.
I just hope that it ain’t gonna get her killed…
Have to remember, they are bugbears, and, in a way, the king is correct: they owe Maula and the others _nothing_, there is a good chance that the Rancid Army _would_ have accepted them into their ranks (they already have Bugbears in their army, and that’s just the few that were left in Black Mountain)
Karak definitely would align himself with the Rancids, specially if it gave him the chance to get his throne back (you remember his throne? the one that he won fairly, by the humans’ own laws, and had stolen from him because Eddy felt gypped they didn’t consult him)
The entire reason they managed to be overthrown was because of Hogga though. She knew her father wasn’t suited for his job, and she was being made miserable. Eventually the bugbear empire would have collapsed under its own weight, she just made sure her family wasn’t destroyed by it.
That just means she would be a better ruler (still doesn’t change the fact that Karak _was_ the rightful ruler, even if he was an idiot and humans need to be rounded up and farmed for their meat and skin :P)
And the proud YAFGC tradition of rebellious daughters continues!
Particularly on Panel 7 – hah!
Oh right, forgot Karak (the rightful ruler of Elegost, or whatever that human land is called) was a Hobgoblin and not a Bugbear
I keep wondering how Hogga keeps staying alive. She is a known ally of both humans and orcs, and her family might be not so willing to keep such children. But, well, she gained them some more life and freedom after their defeat. Maybe they still know some gratitude and voice of reason. But now Hogga is in double trouble again.
I think the reason Hogga hasn’t been assassinated is because she is well liked by a good chunk of the Goblin lands army, so killing her would only end up having to then deal with a civil war as her supporters went after the assassins and their employers.
Unfortunately, being that well-liked by your forces also makes you a target for conversion to the Rancid side.
That’s why they haven’t attempted to convert the Bugbear king or Karak: no one likes them
