That I'm upset that I lost my original d10 or that I'm familiar enough with all my dice that I notice when one is missing.

That depends. Do you have matched sets? Do you regularly take inventory? How often do you have practice rolls to keep the dice from getting too cold?

The first one I ever owned. It was the one that came with the D&D basic boxed set released in the early 80's.

As I stated above it was part of the set that came with the basic set. I would take them out about once a month and see which ones were hot. (Gamer superstitions are fun.) I feel I have to buy new dice every time I'm at the game shop but when game time comes around I almost always go with my original set.

I would be upset to loose something like that too. But if i found a replacement that looked exactly the same... i would sooner or later forget it was missing. Any such chance?

Yay!!!! I remembered packing up my pathfinder books and my dice bag in a backpack and taking them to a friends house so he could roll a character. I remembered when I got home and unpacked my dice bag had spilled. So I grabbed my flashlight and dug out my backpack and sure enough when I shined my light in there my d10 was in the bottom corner. I am complete again. :cheerleader:  :D

Glad to hear it. Nothing worse than losing something you love.

Between finding my die and Max_Writer bring up the Keep on the Border Lands in the role playing journal thread I'm in the mood for some old school gaming.
