Da Ten Docs (A Looney Tune/ Doctor Who Amalgam)

I see alot of lovely comments about the combination of doctor who with looney tunes, well why not this. I want you guys to make an amalgamation of the ten doctors with the looney tunes. I will give an example and my submission to this topic.

Here is my submission

First doctor- Elmer Fudd
Second doctor- Bugs Bunny
Third doctor- Wile E. Coyote
Fourth doctor- Marvin the Martian
Fifth doctor- Porky Pig
Sixth doctor- Daffy Duck
Seventh doctor- Tweety
Eighth doctor- Pepe Le Pew
Ninth doctor- Sylvester the cat
Tenth doctor- Road Runner

I made my choices based on how I would picture each character with the other. Thats just me.

Hmm- that would be hard to match all of them up without a lot of reuse of the characters <g>

I was surprised you picked Wile E Coyote for 3, but then I remembered how he kept trying to make his tardis work without the proper knowledge unlocked in his brain, and it kept resulting in minor explosions and lots of smoke, and that really does fit him

and the 8th Doctor as Pepe Le Pew did have me laughing.

But I would have switched a few around -

6 is Porky Pig ...or Marv the Martian on his darkside days :scream:

5 is Tweety Bird - the first young Doctor, still able to outsmart his enemies with cunning belying his youthful face
4 ...perhaps Bugs Bunny again, or well ..hm, tho he was often clownish, it's hard to think of any toon that could capture him well enough. Any toon out there, doesnt have to be loony tunes..that comes close enough?
7th Doctor ...hm. Speedy Gonzalez? Jerry? (as in Tom and) What's a good toon who's buddy blows things up for him?
I wonder if the 9th Doctor could be done with Kimba the White Lion. Or maybe Simba- pacifist who fights when cornered, holds himself responsible for the death of loved one, runs away rather than accept rulership/guilt...He's not one for eating bugs, but then nobody's perfect...

Ooh, if we're allowed to use _other_ cartoon universes as well (claps hands together, rubs them while grinning evilly) that opens up a LOT more possibilities...

...I got nothin' specific at the _moment_. But it's still a lot more room to think in.

Thanks for the comments M'reen and I like your idea but well I want to use well old toons like hanna barabara toons, Fleischer studios cartoons, King Features Syndicate comics like the comic strips you see in sunday newspaper funnies like popeye, disney cartoons and of course the looney tunes, I'm sure you guys would come up with a great many variety of doctors :lol:

and my reason for picking marvin the martian to be the fourth doctor was because tom baker often had his doctor become the oddest and most alien of all the doctors.

Kimba's as old as the rest of 'em- but if the toon is decent, I'm okay with any.

I guess I can see your reasoning with Marv - but for me, Marv is too short and snobby -killing off insignifigant planets and all....4th Doctor was one of the friendliest of Doctors, he didnt consider himself above making friends with anyone or anything...while some of his earlier incarnations often appeared put upon to be forced to hang out with some lots.

I still can think of a good toon for him tho - he simply appears to outdo all the ones I do think of - they are just not zany enough. Maybe Roger Rabbit? <g>

I know this is an old topic, but I was reading a Third Doctor Who book while waiting at an airport a few weeks ago. I haven't seen Three in anything but snapshots and a brief clip, so it's sort of hard to visualize him.

Anyway, I was reading the book, and suddenly realized that, in my mental images, the Doctor had turned into Disney's version of the Mad Hatter! So, if Disney classics count....

Actually, I read a fanfic somewhere in which Six and Peri end up going to Disneyland and the Doctor is actually _mistaken_ for the Mad Hatter by a little kid.

...come on.

You KNOW it's right. :P

(I agree both 4 and 10 showed the most enthusiasm and energy with their roles <g> Taz works well )
