Inspired by some of the comments over on the current comic (Page 231), I'm introducing this fun little game.

In unforeseen circumstances, the Daleks have exterminated all other species and become the dominant race of the universe. But what happens next? Humourous suggestions, please

My answer? The Daleks look around blankly. After a while one pipes up "...now what?" (inspired by the end of Finding Nemo)

Play scrabble of course.

Sit around in large groups and complain bitterly about how much things sucked before they took over the universe. Mainly to distract themselves from the fact that things are much worse now.

Lots of shouting, followed by infighting and civil war between those qho figure themselves purer Daleks than other.

Some genetic strands are too close to call, whether they are more like this one or that, so sides will have to be picked by playing spin the Dalek.

"Hah! Your plunger landed on Davros side! Impure!"

"No, we are superior! Destroy the traitors!"

"It was on the line. Respin!"

"It was not on the line! Traitor!"

"Impure!"

"Respin!"

...lots of 3 way zapping and replacing of judges ....but the Daleks give the game good ratings during sweeps week, even beating out "Dalek Idol", the genetic profiling talent show.

I think that the Black Dalek would retire to some small moon, and start breeding Slythers and Varga Plants.

I have an idea
The Daleks slowly realise that after exterminating everything in sight and ruling supreme, they have full-filled their purpose - meaning they no longer have one.
So they decide to give themseleves a new purpose, like so...

"We need a purpose."
[The Daleks look at each other, swivelling back and forth. After a silence..]
"How about a song?"
[All the daleks start merrily dancing to "Doctorin' the Tardis"]
Random Dalek: "Y-aa-yy..!"


...Eventually, the daleks decide that since world-domination has already been achieved, World peace would be the ultimate achievement. So, they all revert back to the friendly squishy squid-like little creatures they used to be long long ago (secretly, of course. What dalek would have admitted to originally, actually, being a cute peace-loving squid..? )
Random Dalek: "G-R-O-U-P--H-U-GG!" ^_^

Actually - if daleks suddenly became sqishy peace-loving, random-hug-loving creatures, i think that would somehow be even more scary.. It would give me nightmares, I know that much!..

Hehehe.... sadly, they were never peace-loving squid like beings. They came from war mongering nasty humanoids.

They switch out their attachments, and...Knit one, pearl two.

And there would be Tom Baker scarves, and eye stockings, Kaled Snuggies, etc, etc, etc...

Watch this UK TV advert, hosted on YouTube, as they do just that! It's from 2001 and also stars (who I imagine to be famous overseas) Lemmy from Motorhead and Kelly Brook. If you just want to see the Daleks, they 'bookend' the ad at beginning & end.

I know if i was one of those people in the shopping centre and a dalek started chasing me screaming "PEACE AND LOVEE" I'd be right out that door and gone! XD

I remember my seven year old self watching that ad thinking daleks were only part of an exhibition at Longleat and not a successful sci-fi show.

Dance. Glide foward and back. Foward and back. Rotate left. Rotate right. Gunstick Wiggle. and so on.

You are all pointing out the flaw in any story about evil creatures that want to take over the world/galaxy/Universe: What do you actually do with the thing once you control it? Conquering is not the same thing as ruling. In the end, you'd best be prepared to replace "Exterminate!" with "Administrate!"
