Hi,

While my baby son was keeping me awake last night, I set my mind to casting an actor to play Paulus in a live action "House of Paulus".

I imagine Patrick Stewart would be able to do it with a wig; he could play Paulus as this rakish, rather ambiguous, but charming and plausible figure. But he's a little old now....

I think Paulus looks about 45 years old.

Any thoughts you folks?

Someone else made the comment once that Paulus looked a little like Christopher Eccleston. Maybe that influenced me, but it's hard for me to picture someone else in the role.

He's to old now...But George Cole, who played Flavius in the 1963 version of Cleopatra.

I was re-reading it and patrick stewart came to my mind as well.

I would argue for Peter Caprialdi, myself...
(If you saw the NuWho episode The Fires of Pompeii, in which he played the head of the household, you would know what he looks like...).
