There are ways to see it, as a couple of us have pointed out before, but I won't divulge any information on this forum. (nor can I, probably against the rules)
Yes, there are. And I (have) use(d) them. That's why I said, "Hooray for [said ways]!" earlier in the thread.

I'm very glad I can add my

to the discussion now.

Notice at the end, the woman says "He will knock four times" after that "It is returning through the dark" stuff. I know this can be a leap, but in the 'The Sound of Drums', the drums The Master was hearing and using to control was rhythmically 4 beats of 4 notes.
I took the "he" there to be a less specific Grim Reaper kind of reference... Maybe I just don't have enough imagination.

I think perhaps I got that feeling from that Radio Times article someone posted earlier... Somehow, connecting that with
The Master's mental drums seems a bit of a stretch, but it's plausible enough if Simms has really been on set. Though at that point one has to wonder why the same actor would be playing The Master after he died and refused to regenerate...?Serosis wrote:
I also heard some people speculate that the 'it' she talks about is Gallifrey, and the 'he' knocking is 11 somehow. That would be an interesting one, and I for one would LOVE Gallifrey to come back.
I thought it sounded suspiciously like the early part of Series 4 (or, for that matter, Torchwood...). I mean, a reference to "the dark"? Haven't we heard that a lot lately? Of course, that doesn't make a lick of sense, because then "it" would mean Davros, which would have been "he," so the grammar's all wrong for that scenario. I guess I'm back to having to wait for other good theories. (Not that yours isn't good, Serosis! That might have come out wrong... I just mean that I like to have a bunch to choose from! I would also love to see Gallifrey in the new series, though I agree with kittystitcher that if it happens, it'll be connected to the next regeneration.)
