I hope I'm not jumping the gun or transgressing against forum etiquette by starting this thread, but ... yeah. Here's to Gilda, the somewhat nutty Kobold Seer. Gifted by her female line of descent, nutty by virtue of her species. (And I'm still hoping she might be a love interest for good old Captain Fang! ;))

Yeah I love her character, she is such a cute, nutty character. Also I would not mind if Captain Fang and Gilda become an item. :hehe:

I can just see the love talk now... 'Oh Fang I love you so much, do you love me?'... to whit he says 'My litterbox is crunchy.'

Wouldn't Gilda, who has knowledge of the future, just say: "Shut up and kiss me already!"?

Huh? I thought forum etiquette is talk talk talk!

And yes, i second Gilda and Fang given the high mortality of Gilda's lovers. Go, Gilda!

In non Fangy matters, what is your stance? Is she a yappy kobold cast by her own self in the role of the champion's prophet, or is she something more?

I'm not sure yet. Seers have an ability to tip the scales of fate.

An excellent idea! That way they'd be in close proximity thus facilitating their mutual destruction when the time comes!

Just get them before they reproduce - give 'em five years and the world's surface will just be absolutely covered in babbling, unnaturally lucky psychic koboldlings. And nobody wants that.

But can you call them lucky when they know what's coming?

If they are Fang's children, they will not care. 'Wee! Dooooom!'.

Knowing something's coming and being able to do anything about it are two very different things.

These are all valid points, but where some are concerned it is not a point of not being able to do anything. It is a matter of wanting to do anything. Chaos and anarchy are fundamental factors in any life system after all.

Hmmm... if Gilda knew we were thinking of her as a breeding machine she would have Jone have words with us... pointy, edgy words!

Um. Kobolds probably have a different perspective on that than we do. In Races of the Dragon, Kobolds encourage lots of breeding, to keep up the tribe's numbers. And if Gilda really would have the hots for Captain Fang, she doubly wouldn't mind, I think.
