So... it looks like things are coming to a head. Kurassa "vs." his inner demons. Given the fight hasn't actually started yet as I type this, we'll see how it turns out.

I'm amused by the Elder God appearance of the rogue's gallery of his true selves, but in a way, they all really seem both too buff yet lacking in grandiosity to fit in with the character that I've seen. Kurassa strikes me as a petty little schemer who thinks that he has what it takes to be a world-beating big bad. His "true selves" seem to lack both the smallness of his reality and the over-the-top quality of his harebrained schemes.

Well, we still do not know who he is and what he has done. Imagine that he knew about an artifact such as that, that he survived so far and that if not for Fatinah's rebellion the day would probably be his.

Yeah, we don't really have any evidence that he was scheming beyond his means or competence. He's speant the entire story arc either trying to play nice or frustrated.
