For Charlotte that would make sense. Since she is a total masochist the idea of self torture by denying herself of any sexual pleasure would fit her for a while at least

Bit of thread necro I know...but will we ever get to see Charlotte again? After Arachne she's my favourite character, and she's been missing for years!

Honestly, I don't think any character will be adandonned forever. Hell, Turg was left behind in one of the early stories and then he came back just a few months ago.
