Cadugan, could you tell us something about your mother, please, if you don't mind my asking.

It sounds like it

Oh I've got servants who do that kind of thing. My handmaids do all the meet n' greet crap. I just show up and bathe in the worship once in a while. I guess they're just setting into their eternity. I'll drop in when I'm good and ready.

Awesome, well enjoy your time here in the mortal realm. We all love having you here (provided we are a safe distance away)

What just run around making heirs? You make it sound so simple and fun. Look, the more people get involved in a scandal like that the harder it is to keep them under control. Glon was an accident. A good accident, it turns out, but an accident nevertheless. There were other circumstances I won't get into about why I needed an heir right at that time and why a little pug-nosed half-orc kid would have gotten me into a whole lot of hot water. Suffice it to say that I regret what I did, and yet it all worked out better than it could have otherwise, wouldn't you say?
And as for Lucas' promotion... I couldn't be prouder. He's my boy, blood or no.
-Owen

I suppose if you're looking for an immediate heir, adoption is the way to go. (Looking forward to hopefully seeing more of your past and circumstances in the comic eventually, your family history is very engrossing. And often adorable)
And it's good to hear you say that, you were a little rough on him last time we saw you two. Tho I guess that's part of getting him ready for a job that tough.

*snicker* I'm a fox, I'm not The Fox. Not in YAFGC, anyway. ;)

Cadugan, is there any significance to or a story behind the feather that you're wearing, or is it purely for decoration?

He's been wearing it in the bottom right hand braid, as you can see here, in panels three and four: http://yafgc.shipsinker.com/index.php?strip_id=973

There are other strips where you can see it, as well as in his picture in the character gallery.

Ugh. What's to tell? She's a lonely woman with low impulse control. Very difficult to live with. Taidor and I keep our visits short.

My blue feather? It has significance if you know what to look for. It was a gift from a special brotherhood among the Satyrs. They think it has magical powers, but I haven't experienced any of that.

As always, the good fight is against opression, corruption, and injustice in any of its incarnations.

You want one?

A feather given to you by "a special brotherhood among the Satyrs," and you're wearing it in your right braid. Yes, I think I can guess the significance of it. You wear it well.

Arachne, why did you hate Glon before the whole overthrowing the Hobgoblin King thing?

Because he's a whiney, horny, lazy, cheapass, smelly, classless, brainless, dolt of a delusional halfbreed himbo.
Or do I need another reason?

So, Lucas, how's the whole Duke thing working out so far?

Well... it's pretty hectic. I have a whole lot of new power and responsibility I didn't anticipate. I mean, being a Baron was pretty intimidating, but now I'm the King's second! When I go ANYWHERE I represent him. Good thing this job comes with perks.

A follow up, if you don't mind, Your Grace.

Does this mean that you've become an advisor/mentor figure for Young King Runtherd, someone he should try to emulate? Or is that position largely left to Crown Wizard Eddie?
