Jeanne d'Arc was executed by the english on the charge of witchcraft, though she claimed it was God and Angels she dealed with right?

So following the Jone echoing Jeanne d'Arc idea, could Jone get in trouble by opponents to Glon claiming she deals with non-orc demons when sh's actually involved with Gruumsh?

If we're following the whole Jehane la Pucell story, Glon is in the role of the Dauphin and Jone will be executed by whoever is filling the niche of the Burgundians (the liege she betrayed by defecting to the French).

Some days it doesn't pay to be a standard bearer.

To SeconHeartbeat: Hmmm, this could very well be -the voices of God in her head and Glon as the Dauphin... a people that will react badly given Halevelock's demon dealing habits... could the English be the humans in that case?

I just had a thought while reading back a bit. The last Bloodhand king was dethroned for dealing with non-orccish related demons, right? There were talks of curses, right? Now a Bloodhand is back on the throne with an half-orc heir and then a different half-orc witha tie to the head of the orcish gods witha special mission. I wonder if her mission will be to smite Glon and take the throne herself.

Killing Glon isn't all that hard, it's his mom they have to account for. Anyway I think her destiny is bigger than taking the throne.

Considering everything Jone's picked up so fast and that she's got the head of the pantheon backing her taking out Mrs. Bloodhand isn't as impossible as it might normally be. And Taking the throne would likely just be the first step. I hope I'm wrong (as I usually am when I predict things, my Cadugan won't be in the mood for sexytimes in a woman's body was way off) but it's hard to guess what else Jone ight be in for, aside from screwing with Lolth, which is....not the wisest course fo action for anyone.

I'd do it.
Whatever her destiny she seems too nice to follow through with something truly nasty.

What if her job is to protect Glon? Glon may be half orc, and I don't know a thing about DND, but it seems to me that anyone, be it someone of royal ancestry or a half breed, who puts a deity's race back in power would earn that deity's favor. Glon was the one who originally upset that power structure if I remember correctly. Once again though, I know nothing of Gruumsh's temperament.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. :-\ Presumably she's been taking torture lessons from Arachne, and I doubt all the prisoners in her dungeon are somehow responsible for hard times that have befallen the WhiteEyes.

Still there is a kind of naivette in her even in the torture chamber. She seems to enjoy the learning, and Arachne's approval, not the pain. Which is uttery unimportant if you are the one being tortured, but important if we are looking for clues on her.

Jone being willing to torture people despite not getting anything out of it isn't exactly a positive thing.

Am I alone in really not liking the expressions on Jone's face when she hears her mother is going to marry Glon ...?

I think it only natural to be excited that her hardships are coming to an end and all the nice people in the caverns are going to be her relatives.

That's excitement at pleasant prospects ...? The teeth must be throwing me way off, because I got a 'Ssssoooon, my precioussss'- or even a 'Yessss, master'-vibe off of Jone.

So....Jone just did the traditional "I'm now related to royalty smile'.
