So...who else is thinking that the Goldkeepers tribe will turn out to be not quite as extinct as everybody thought after today's update?

I think royalty need not apply, only that they be of the tribe. And who will get picky what with the tribe being officially wiped out and all.

Who knows what goingto happen apart from Rich - Its going to be fun finding out though

Plus... Jone is too much of a child to play the romantic interest, is she not? And even if they are survivors, if there are only two of them they will be assimilated into another tribe, they can hardly form a tribe on their own.

I'd sooner expect the White-Eyes to be Shadowtalkers, really.

YIKES! I just read today’s strip, and I don’t think even Glon is THAT strong! You think she could be half something other then human? Ogre maybe? Or could orc women just be physically stronger then orc men? It would make sense if you think about it. I would imagine an orcish woman would need to be strong to fight off all the males trying to sleep with her. *Shrugs*


Also. Her making the spike makes me worry. Is she simply making something out of metal? Or is she making it for something more devious?

She seems too kind to actually think about impaling someone in cold blood, right? Probably she could snap under pressure at some point, or become very violent if someone threatens her mother, but to actually forge the spike beforehand...
Unless she is going by instict. Thet the sleazy sleaze can start kissing his codpiece goodbye.

awww, i seriously want SOMETHIMG good to happen to Jone, she's so sweet and innocent. I'm worried that someone-sleazebag propositioner perhaps- may try to hurt her or her mum will cause Jone to try to defend them and then not knowing her strength kill someone

He's a regular blacksmith, not a classic high-fantasy 'I only make swords and armor even though nobody in this village can afford them' smith. That means nails and spikes like this one are probably his best-selling product along with horseshoes. Good metal tools tend to last a while, but nails are always in demand. So it'd make sense that Jone would pick that up by watching him.

Also, it definitely looks like somebody rolled an 18 for strength .

Plus that +2 racial bonus.

For a child of 16 (maybe 14 or 13 consdering race) I would say that is pretty kickass.

well you must remember that she DID hear mr. sleezebag talking with her mouth. she could be fightened for her mothers life, and not wanting to loose the only family she has, is prepaired to kill in order to protect it.
