Today's comic reminded me of all the debate about the Fox's Identity.
I suddenly remembered someone suggest Cap'n Fang.
Having remembered this i proceeded to reach for the mind bleach to scrub my brain of the images produced. :help:

Like the teeth. All those kobold teeth jammed into a smaller mouth.

But Jone's too tall, and doesn't have the horns. So we can all safely go back to scrubbing that image out of our brain.

Well, well. It appears that everyone's favorite pint-sized reptilian scourge of the high seas is back in action. And, seemingly, a little less scattered than we're used to seeing him.

I'm not sure about that. Sure, he signals correctly, but that just means he's sending the same stream of consciousness gibberish he's usually gabbling.

Besides, he knows how to use the cannons as well. So he's actually competent at sailorly stuff. Just not much of anything else.

Maybe he is the mad guru, dispensing wisdom by being our inner child  .
Or maybe he is a crappy kobold using and abusing all the laws of Looney Tunes cartoonery :idiot2: .

Oh my... i just had a terrible thought. The Captain was included in the 'intermission' strips. And now Jone is walking around kobold in tow (assuming this thing is actually a kobold).
What if the captain and the annoying, yapping, bouncing prophet of doomy doom get together? Huh? Huh? The world is at stake, people  !

My first response was fear and terror. The idea of Yappy Seer and Cap'n Fang teaming up is enough to melt my brain. In a bad way.

But wait! Think of the deliciously painful and inventive ways Arachne would deal with them! While everyone else writhes on the floor as their brain implodes she saves the day and deals with them in a way that is just pure evil.

I'd like to see what happens when/if those two Kobolds meet. Could be interesting.

There will always be more Kobolds, as long as there are even one male and female left. ;) Just read the chapter on Kobolds in Races of the Dragon if you don't believe me! Heh ...
