Granted, she has to sound in character, but does she need to sound very much like Kate O'Mara?

Well, she was clearly still her in the comic. Rich said that, unlike the Doctor and the Master, she takes very good care of herself and hasn't needed to regenerate.

OK - that was my question - was she distinctly Kate's Rani or not (I couldn't remember whether or not Rich had said). Guess now I know! :D

Has Rich said whether he'll grace us with some gasps for his cameo at all yet?

Hilary too for that matter

HAHAHAHAHAHAH! I suppose I probably should, eh? Good thing I didn't give us any lines.

I was actually going to ask you if you'd mind being the TARDIS technician who gets taken over by the Master on pages 13 and 14, sort of as a tip of the hat to you? He only has a few lines and I can imagine on telly he'd perhaps be some producer cameoing in the role. But it's fine if you don't want to, just a suggestion is all...

Oh, cool, I could do that. I just don't know if I have any recording equipment that will be of good enough quality.

I think I screwed this post up something awful. Sorry RHG.

Well whoever does it, the technician gets to jobsworth "You can't park 'ere" like Derrick Sherwin in Spearhead From Space, and fall over and expire like all the staff cameos then do in The Silurians. So it's double-win. :)

Yes indeedy. I must admit being hesitant to saying something that equates to "Hey Rich, want to be killed off in a story you wrote?"

On a side note, I'm thinking about taking The Ten Doctors: Audio Play Ver. to a seperate, off-site, dedicated forum, mainly because I think we're kind of gumming up the works over here. While the cons would be that the participants would have to re-register, the pros include being able to spill into multiple threads instead of having this gargantuan beast of a thread taking up the majority of the Roundtable. Any thoughts?

(Oh, and before my prior post was maimed somehow I was also deeply in praise of MR's hilarious and impromtu "Rah[nee]! Rah[nee]! Sis-boom-bah[nee]!")

Why, thank you! :) Always nice to be able to put a post in the W column...

About moving this conversation... I'd personally rather keep it here, though I'd follow y'all if you left. :) I think it's up to Rich and Hilary whether they want this monstro-thread to stay or go; I'll abide by their decision.

That might help the project, or it might make it lose actors. I'm not sure.

Anyway, I've sent RHG/Arraitchgee my lines and auditions for Leela, the Black Guardian, and the President of Gallifrey.

Edit: well, trying to. My email server's acting up.

I can't speak for Rich but I know I, at least, would prefer to be able to keep half an eye on how his work is being used, and I don't have the time in my day for another forum. The forums here don't see enough traffic that I have to worry about bandwidth or post counts, so there's no issue on a technical basis.

If it's because you'd like multiple threads, I can set up a forum for you in which to spread out. Perhaps it would work as a Fanworks folder; as long as you started each thread with a code for which project people were talking about, it could be kept quite neat.

(fer instance, 10DAudio: Actor Discussions; WhoFanfic: The Rani Meets The Hulk; FanArt: New Gallery: Sketches of 10's Hand; etc)

Hilary, that would be groovy! Id rather not leave the forums to discuss the project, so anything you can do to keep us here is a blessing!

Ah, this is grand. Thank you very much, Hilary! Saves me the trouble of trying to figure out how to make a forum.

Welcome to the fanworks forum, everyone! Please start new topics with "10DAP" or something similar.
