This was excellent, excellent. But Jone was still much more a tragic character to me than anything else, and very wonderfully drawn, I must say. Yes, her spirit deserves some chance at redemption. She was, after all only a child, and probably not completely aware of what she was doing, even before she totally lost her humanity- (Orcanity?? Whatever.)

And -- LEWIE! LMAO!

way i see it: the burning arrow did swuat, and just passed right through her (you can see it stuck in the rock behind her) then she runs towards the gang, and Lewie, who is underground at the time, blows her sky-high with an awsome fire spell.

Well, he did say he would be exploring the lower caverns (or something to that effect) when he buggered off in strip 800

I'm equally impressed with Lewie's EXPLOOOOOOSIVE abilities and with Cadugan and Lucas' ability to embrace death together. Bravo!

Uhmmm... come to think of it, was Jone the only one killed by the explosion? I am sure the blast did no-one any good.

Especially for the few who've already gotten on the wrong side of Jone and possibly have internal injuries. Can't be helping out the external injuries, either.

This was awesome. So much <3 for Lucas and Cadugan. I'm really looking forward to the explanation for Lewie's sudden appearance and actions though.

So...

And Lucas and Cadugan were so.... GAH! I can't wait for more tomorow. :cheerleader:

At this point, I think we all are doing Beholder imitations. You'll see no raised hands.

Let me correct myself, I'm sure there are people who were betting on Meegs showing up and using magic, those people get to raise one out of two hands.

Possibly Moonpuppy meant that if Lewie turns Jone's corpse into his undead slave, her army can't resurrect her, no matter how hard they try. *cough*

Thank you, Aebliss, that was my intention. Sorry Nowhere if my post was confusing.

Lewie's life was screwed-up by a deity using him as a pawn to increase her own power in the mortal world.
Maybe he saw an opportunity to mess with the plans of another deity attempting the same thing.

I'd go with that one. It fits Lewie's personality well. He just loves revenge. Even if it is against a group (gods in general). He could also use this as a way to get back into the 'good graces' of the mountain dwellers.
