... Does that mean Jais continues with the feathers, or that she's going to get the tools that hurt, next?

I am guessing the feather. If something works, you keep it.

I think it means it's her turn to play, instead of Arachne's.

There are so many sensitive places that feather can touch as well. Ex-Queen is going to laugh herself to madness I bet.

Never got the concept of tickling as torture. I would love to see that ''Laugh to madness'' though.

I'm guessing you're not very ticklish. Trust me, when you are it's not fun.

Yeah... In medieval Russia (or Rus, or Moscovia, to be precise) there was a voevoda (or "voivode", tzar's officer of high rank, governor of province) who was very voluptuous and very jealous. And very cruel and without shame and moral at all.
He was rather old, but liked young girls and took them as wifes (sequentially, not simultaneously).
Every time he started to suspect his wife was infidele (it took little time for he was jealous, as I said), he locked himself up with the poor woman in her gornitza (room for women in rich houses then) and brought her to death by tickling.
Widowed, he married another unlucky girl.
And did so two or three time.

Wow. This is as grotesque a torture tale as any. Thanks.
