Rage does ugly things to you, no matter what species you are.

Was that Jone in the mirror? That'd be one hell of a wakeup-call...

It just now occurs to me that Ibki's plate mail skirt makes her look like a Dalek. Or Davros... :P

Alas and alack, Arachne lives to make the world a dirtier, darker place for another day. At least Sittica survives, too. But I do wonder what kind of dynamic Glon and Arachne will have after this: he might be sorry about almost killing her later, but now they both know he can beat her in a fight...

A dirtier darker place? Dude, you realise she's a restraining force on the drow, right? Hate her if you want but recognise what she does.

Restraining in the same way a laser's focussing lens is, yes.

I've run into very few game worlds that wouldn't be better off without drow (or notice that they're gone, most of the time). Rich's is one where they are necessary, just as a very rich (heh) story resource.

Well, yes, they're evil. Every world would be better without drow, orcs, goblins and beholders. Every character who lives under the mountain is a terrible person at best and a complete monster in general.

Really? Because it seems to me the orcish women in today's very comic have already proven you completely wrong.

You mean the same orcish women who's hobbies include the recreational torture of their collective husband when he aggravates them?

No they haven't. Caring about your spouse and possibly friends, doesn't make you a good person, it makes you not a sociopath. These same wives were the ones that suggested the raids on the human villages that killed and enslaved dozens, possibly hundreds of innocent people.

Plus what Lord_Fellgrin said.

He can beat her when he wields a sword and wears full plate armour, and she is unarmed and unprotected. In fair conditions, this would be much harder for him.

Exactly, and not limited to them. You know, if there would be no living creatures in the world, there couldn't be any evil whatsoever.

Sure there could be:
Undead, elementals, constructs.

You have just said that all drow are sociopaths, haven't you? (You are right.)

Well maybe next time she goes to a war, she'll go dressed for it :P

Also I'm assuming her garments actually function as some form of light armor, as swords don't usually just go "WHAM" into people when wielded with murderous intent. Not carrying any form of weapon though? (Besides her spit?) Yeah that's just careless and/or arrogant.

He didn't hit her with the sword, he smacked her with his fist/arm.
And Arachne was in the Royal throan room with Lolth right there, weapons weren't really a necessity as they weren't engaging in war at the moment. As you may recall Arachne was trying to stop the war and wasn't expecting Glon to go all crazy and attack an ally in from of a goddess.

That's all true, but that doesn't make the combat more fair. Not like one should expect fair combat, but this isn't the way of finding out who is a better fighter.
