I think it's the arched eyebrow and lack of nose, but she almost looks surprised in the last panel. Or could be a 'matter of fact' expression. In any case, I don't envy her. Reunited with friends, get your dream job; and the first thing you have to do is make amends with (and most likely concessions to) an angry empire of Orcs who blame your people for starting an unprovoked & costly war. Not the best way to start your reign, not that she had any choice in the matter.

though maula isnt a reasonless regent either and wouldnt blame her for the war, and its actually a plus point the old drow queen is a bit dethrowned (and de-other-unspeakables). though i am curious how nephilia handles lizard bitch now

Lizard bitch? If you're reffering to the original Queen I don't see why she'd have to handle her at all. She's Arachne's slave now.

Wow, what a war, wonder when we'll see Lolth again? Also I just was referred to this comic from some friends on another webcomic forum. Over the last week I have read all of the archives, pretty good stuff.

Look at it this way, Im-D. There's nowhere for her to go but up, and even a few quiet years will make her reign compare quite favorably with the last two incumbents.

Plus as you said Maula is pretty reasonable for an orc queen.
