Pretty sure I'm not alone when I say that upon reading this strip, I felt a very weird combination of terror and arousal. What gets me is the change in panels 3 & 4. Her eyebrows are arched, very angry face. Then her eyes narrow to a more sultry, lustful expression.

Also, I thought Glon was still partying with his harem. Either the wives have grown on him and he's more faithful then I thought, or that was just the first thing he could think of to hide his panic and bail. Either way, I hope that Arachne pursues, just so I can see Glon sweat

I'm with timemonkey on this one, hence arousal and terror. Also, could someone link me the specific time when he disbanded the harem? Or are we just assuming?

I know Glon used to want to bed Arachne, so this is an ironic event, but it really gave me the heebie-jeebies. In his place, I would have run so fast, people would have heard a sonic boom. Clearly, Glon is not into S&M or 'snuff sex'. Blegh!

Might this be a new perspective on Arachne's personality? If death and pain are her main turn-ons, then she might not actually be a lesbian. In Drow society, women dish out the pain and men take it. If pain is Arachne's 'thing', then she probably never considered any man a suitable partner... until now. o_o

My inner terrified child is hoping she did this to scare him but i am afraid she means it... .

It's not a new aspect. Arachne is a man-hater, at least, used to be. But she's always been portrayed as bisexual and into S&M from either side.

Ah. I never really got the 'bi'-vibe off of her. ; And here I thought I sussed out why she was so strongly into women.

Remember, she kidnapped King Eric because she fancied him.

Arachne is a drow so she she's going to be more incline toward women.

Also, her being a mistress to Glon would be more of the violent dom than the submissive lady.
