This just looks to me like Wolf doing what Wolf does, jumping on any opportunity to put himself at the top of the male heap among drow. The rod remark was probably a bit over the top, but it's likely not an untrue claim, and it should be easy to play off as a joke unless she happens to have specifically suffered torture involving being tied to posts and beaten with rods.

Sure, i do not consider them in love or anything. I just like the idea of a successfull pairing, even if it is not born out of romance. Like Glon has for example.

Yes, now they do. So my hope is that after some time, given that their marriage is Lolth mandated and also a boon for both of them given their previous condition, they will use their union as an alliance and maybe even feel romantically happy with each other after some time!
