Wow. This whole mess is starting to really resemble the short "B-17" from the old Heavy Metal anthology, one our Canadian artists might be pretty familiar with.

(The short concerned a WWII bomber that, during a really bad nocturnal bombing run, lost its entire crew to flak and enemy fighters save the two pilots. The plane then runs into an evil alien force, resurrecting the stricken crew as zombies. They attack and kill the co-pilot. The pilot successfully bails out, only to land on an island full of crashed bombers - and their zombie crews. It does not end...well).

Given how fast the virus (is it a virus?) seems to take hold I can't see them completing the task and finding the well before the gals are just two more members of the shambling undead.

at least they would make formidable underlings for king lewie
