Feeling a little melancholic (perhaps still a bit of physical and emotional recovery from my procedure last week... and anticipating the one to come)... But I have a question to anyone who may still be lurking in the old forums here.

Does the YAFGC world feel at all "real"? Does it feel like somewhere you could go?

It used to. I'm not so sure after you nuked it. You'll need another couple of arcs to convince me. :frogwink:

Unlike a lot of comics, time passes, people change, characters die, so yeah to me it feels very organic and real.

Rather so.

Dunno about the post-nuke situation, as we have not seen enough.
Perhaps a few, brief scenes from elsewhere?

BTW--still grumpy (not-grumpy) about the custom artist's edition you sent. Drapes match the rug--INdeed!

It always has, and it most certainly still does.

The comic has always had a full cast of characters, a variety of settings and cultures, and that's still true even after the destruction of the Black Mountain.

While there was undoubtedly a lot of lives lost with that destruction, several of the characters we've come to know and care for from the mountain are still around, and we've yet to learn for sure just what's happened to several others.

Too, there are all the other characters and places that are presumably untouched, even with Ranna's return to power. We've yet to hear what's happening to those people and their cities.

Finally, there I'm sure there are still a lot of people and places you've left to introduce us too. The richness of your storytelling over the years leaves no doubt that there's still a lot for us readers left to learn.
