Since the other thread has gone completely off-topic, then South for the winter, I think that something more specific is in order. Pick any two characters you would like to see duke it out. Then we can get get Lord Fellgrin to page Rich again, since his response last time was uncanny-fast, lol. My vote is still for Lolth vs. Beholder King. Course a good-old catfight w/ Gren vs. Charlotte would also be fun :sneaky2:

I apologize for my part in sending the BK/Lolth thread south.
At this point i'd love a Meegs/Lewie duel. I'm still not sure how powerful Meegs actually is but at least it would be amusing.
As for best catfight? We never did get to see Gren slap Nike for "seducing" her boyfriend.

Hmm.. i wonder who would win between Maula and Arachne. Not that i want to see them fighting.

I vote for Maula. She has experience and tactical superiority. Her age and weight would most likely make Arachne underestimate Maula's physical abilities.

I dunno, Arachne knows Maula pretty well. And vice versa, of course. I don't think there's going to be much underestimating there.

Drow aren't really good meleers in most versions of D&D (sorry, Drizzt), especially with that Constitution penalty. Orcs, on the other hand, are excellent at it.

Always bet on green.

How about Capt. Fang vs. Charlotte? :3

I dunno, Arachne just might be another exception. She did manage to catch one of Jone's Bare Hands of Ogre Strength +15 back there, and she's always been shown as favoring melee weapons.

....Did I just say "I dunno" two posts in a row there? Yeesh. I gotta work on diversifying my speech patterns.

So, Cadugan's fox versus Meegs' domesticated griffin. Adorable, yet vicious.

All is nice and balanced until we find out the fox is a werefox and the griffin is a fox lover.

Meegs VS Lewie. Ol’ Bonehead seems to have a lot of magic talent now and Meegs should be in her groove now.

The Keeper versus Lewie, and epic dark lord showdown. I probably would not have thought of this if Lewie had not blown Jone to atoms.

Glon vs Charlotte.
Not a serious challenge, but plenty of comedic opprtunity  .

I just realized there is no way to edit the original post :( Oh well. Also, the more I think about it, the more I would like to see some action w/ Meegs. She's not quite as creepy as Jone, but only b/c she hasn't had a proper story of her own since taking over the job of Freelance Wizard. In order received, here is what we've got so far;

Lolth vs. BK
Gren vs. Charlotte
Lewie vs. Meegs x3
Maula vs. Arachne
Fang vs. Charlotte
Dungeon Keeper vs. Lewie
Glon vs. Charlotte

That's not a fight either. It’s an all you can eat buffet. :smartass:
