I've got to comment here that I am at once thrilled and intimidated by the depth of discussion that goes on in regards to my characters and stories.

Various points of various stories have raised what looks like heated discussions about morality, character motivation, the nature of good and evil, religion, physics, mythology both historical and RPG created...

And while I sometimes fear that I've angered people, and I'm sure I actually have on at least a couple of occasions, I'm also amazed that some of you can get so involved and in tune with my characters that you care enough to get riled up about issues in our forum.

So consider this thread both a great big THANK YOU! and a humble apology.
You should know who you are.

It is all due to the depth of your story lines and characters.
We see how much you put into them, and it is hard for us not to respond in kind...

It is hard not to respond to a multilayered character!

I find it interesting that the characters in a webcomic have more depth than characters in many best selling novels these days. Cough twilight cough.

Oh, it doesn't even have to be a clearly bad book. Many above than average books focus on plot and forget the importance of having it carried out by human beings instead of devices.
I get the sense that the plot in YAFGC is interesting because the protagonists react in three dimensional ways and thus you can never completely predict the outcome.
