Like in a zoological park, or a carnival sideshow. Probably more the latter.

Yup. Exactly like Lord Fellgrin says. I was thinking like a sideshow freak at a circus.

1919 "i write songs for living" and "i could be a faery judge" how is it connected?

Ben means that Lady Marion just seems to be making things up as she goes along. There seems to be no rational logic to it. He makes stuff up for a living too. How hard can this be?

Very?

In a way, it's similar to conversing with a paranoid schizophrenic. The phrasing often needs to be very specific.

Yes, that's what he learns in the subsequent strips. The fairies have their own logic and Lady Marion understands it.

Yeah... cool thread!
As I also started that monumental work of translating YAFGC to my native language - German.

The poems will be really hard, I'm only "kinda" looking forward translating that...

Ahhh... btw... if somebody needs Photoshop documents of the translated Strips (one layer with the original strip, one layer with cleaned bubbles and layers for every sentence), just drop me a line.
We don't need to do all the work multiple times, and if it helps you bringing your favorite comic to your native language, the better :D

50 done... 2300+ to go... BK, you're awfully productive! :D
