BK, you've achieved an incredible milestone, one thousand daily strips, without missing a day! Congratulations on a job very well done!

Well done, too, on such a simple, quiet, and yet very satisfying conclusion to the first one thousand strips. While there are plenty of storylines still waiting to be told, you brought things to a natural pause. That takes talent.

Congratulations again, and thank you for such a great comic.

There usually is, and I think BK has something in mind, but we've had houseguests in and out over the past couple of weeks and we're in the middle of buying a house, so his at-home time to work on the comic (for any cleaned and coloured images) has been seriously truncated. Apologies for whatever length of delay this turns out to be, but thank you so much for the congratulations!

One thousand strips in one thousand days, with great art and outstanding storytelling and drama and humour... Awesome.

It's impressive! I'm impressed. Congrats, Rich. Seriously. :cheerleader:

Yes indeed, thank you all very much!
There will definately BE at least 1 wallpaper to commemorate the 1000th strip of YAFGC, but, as my dearly beloved already stated, there have been other more immediate things I've had to attend to. I'm working on something! I'm sorry it couldn't be ready for today.

There's lots more story to come so stay with us as we head towards 2000!

I definitely intend to. You make work surviveable, and even give me something to daydream about in faculty meetings.

Wow, you never missed a day? That's really impressive.

(Noob here.)

This might be a good time to mention what I like best about your art: the poses and gestures your characters use. So expressive, and appropriate, and non-cliche.

Thank you very much!
Giving credit where credit is due, I'd like to thank Warner Bros. cartoons and Sheridan College Classical Animation classes for my particular style. (Not to mention a little dash of Archie comics and Hannah Barbara, who do, in fact, have a lot to answer for in the Animation industry! Curses!)
Praise like that is very touching, thank you.

And as for not missing a day, I owe that consistancy and discipline to be beloved, best friend, and muse, DM. *mwah*

Woot. Almost in time for thousand... Too bad I missed it. Kinda anyways *whispers* it's still on the internets if you look carefully! To be honest I didn't expect YAFGC to run all the way to thousand..

Now that the hardest part is over, I'm expecting Rich to pump out two strips per day, so we'll reach 10 000 faster.

Of course I should have said 'originally'... Bad wording on my behalf. Tbh it just looks like a side project, something to keep you busy for a while. Of course, after 950 strips I firmly believed we'd get 1000 (yeah, maybe a lil bit earlier).
