How does that taste? Never had some!

Rhubarb is a bit tart. It goes really well with berries, especially strawberries. I'm sure someone else can describe it better. I've only had rhubarb pie once.

A friend of mine was describing what a circus was to my 7 yr old niece, having just been to the Shriner's one the day before - and spontaneously decided we should all go to the 2pm showing yesterday, so she could see for herself - and he really loved this years acts - and off we went.

No one forgot where we sat as we were in section 314. The Pi seats.

As Lassarai said, it's very tart/acidic and needs sweetening, sometimes by combining with berries. We had a rhubarb patch when I was growing up, and sometimes my mom would kind of stew the stuff to reduce it to a sauce (vaguely akin to applesauce) for desserts. Because the stems themselves are a bit fibrous, the sauce is usually a little stringy-looking, but it's actually quite tasty (again, with enough sweetening).

I guess flavors are a bit difficult to describe, if you don't do it for a living... Hmmm... I don't have any better adjectives for you than "tart" and "acidic" - doesn't make it sound very appealing, but it is pretty good.

I am curious as a German friend promised to make some when we were in Scotland and i cannot forget his enthusiasm when he found the rhubarb patch. It did not happen in the end but i was left curious. Thanks, guys .
