I am having A Day. I need amusements. Is there anyone out there willing to oblige?

*hugs you tight* I'm so sorry to hear you're having one of those type of days. I hope things improve for you very, very soon. You're good people, you shouldn't have these kinds of days.

As for amusement, I'm not sure if this will help. I'm an old fogey, and the things that amuse me are also old. However, just in case...

A guy walks into a psychiatrist's office with a duck on his head. The psychiatrist asks, "Can I help you." The duck says, "Yeah, get this guy off my ass."

Well, recently someone on the comix page sent a link to a page for the Misfits of Science - that 80's show about a lab that worked on the weird folk, gathering them together in a last desperate move to save folks in trouble. (Well, that and Billy had those jackets lying around from his failed attempt to form the lab into a basketball team "Misfits of Science")

Here's a link to some audio track http://scienceofmisfits.blogspot.com/2009/10/media.html - and if you don't remember it, on the transcripts page there is a very well written write up of the first ep <g>

I got a chuckle listening to Johnny B's 'Johnny Be Good' bit, when he's psyching himself to blast the compound to give the rest of the team more time for their rescue.

It may replace "You're A Mean One, Scorpy" as a favorite cheering up page http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLRplol1jmo

This is probably the funniest blog on the web.

http://community.sparknotes.com/index.php/2009/07/16/blogging-twilight-index-page/

If that doesn't make you laugh out loud, i will put on bells and veils and come over there to dance.

I hope Canadian Septembers allow veils, by the way... and not over a fur and under a hazmat suit.

Oh Morgana, Canadian Septembers are beautiful, especially if you're one of the 75% of us that live within 100 of the US border. (It's the latitude that matters, not necessarily the proximity to the US). Cool evenings, warm sunny days, trees turning colour...

And if it gets cold, we would always invite you inside the igloo!

Speaking of Canada in the fall, this silly but relentlessly cheerful little love letter to the country always brings a smile to my face. Stereotyped, yes, trite, sure, more cliches than a Jeanette MacDonald film, absolutely, but bubbly and upbeat and oh-so-positive. I don't mind a bit of cliche for a good cause, and loving someone or something is always a good cause.

Okay, okay... I know I'm really late to this party, but this never gets old...

And this is downright amazing...
