I've had a note on another thread that there are still some posting problems on this board. I've applied a patch that may fix things, and everything appears to be working fine from this end. Nothing is showing up in the logs.

What I need from you folks is data so that I can track down any patterns in the errors. You can email me at dungeonmaster [at] yafgc [dot] net if you can't post in this thread. When you run into an error on this board. please post or send me:

Date/time the error happened

The error code (500? 404?)

What you were doing (reading, posting, editing a post, etc)

Hopefully once I get a few data points, I can nuke whatever is causing the hangup, because it should no longer be server speed problems.

As a side note, Dreamhost itself got DOS attacked the other day thanks to a page it hosts that was running a 'Draw Mohammad Day,' so that may have had brief repercussions on other sites that it hosts.

I created a few polls in the Doctor Who Misc thread, but notice that if you try to vote it always says 'submitted form was invalid'.

I thought this might be bcs I allowed 2 options to be chosen, but it says the same thing if you choose 2. If you choose 3 it says you chose too many.
The polls are meant to be ongoing for casual visitors over time, and are set to run for zero or blank days accordingly.

There's no hurry, but I wondered if you had ideas about what's gone wrong.
