The only three I read are this one, Darths and Droids, and DM of the Rings (the last pretty much anytime one of the movies come on, because Seamus did a beautiful job). Of the many others floating out there, most feel kind of meh. Except Order of the Stick, which is enjoyable enough, but reminds me I don't have any real gaming in my life any more. Depressing.

CAD isn't really that good. I'd say it's mediocre at best (even though I admit I have it on my bookmarks)..

Saturday morning Breakfast Cereal has kept me amused for a while. It's kinda like H&C, if that's your cup of tea.

chopping block is one of my current favourites too. Not harharhar funny, but very good dark humor in my opinion.

Graphic novels are also good. Shades, Roza and the Brigand Mage, Khaos...

I must also agree with this. I love the comics and the forums are pretty awesome too.

Most of the comics I like have already been said, except for Terror Island. Alas, it has finished, but it was a fantastic read.

I think that Least I Could Do has already been mentioned, but I'm gonna recomend it again. It's a really great strip about a geek who can get laid. Also, he has more money than is good for him, so he can do crazy things like creating the Back-to-the-Future car, or giving his car a paint job so it has the Transformers logo on the hood. (www.leasticoulddo.com)

By the same creator and artist (Sohmer and Lar) as Least I Could Do is another comic that I enjoy...Looking For Group. Sohmer created it after he stopped playing WoW, and it is a comic that makes fun of WoW. It's fantastic...my favorite character is the Undead Warlock, Richard. Check it out! (www.lfgcomic.com)

Just some recent additions:

The Surreal Adventures of Edgar Alan Poo (http://www.drunkduck.com/The_Surreal_Adventures_of_Edgar_Allan_Poo) is betrayed by the (uhm...) shitty title, but the graphic novel is great -haunting art, beautiful concept, dialogue you need more of.

Fey Winds (http://www.feywinds.com) and Lint (http://www.purnicellin.com/lint) are among the most accomplished fantasy comics out there: they are both light, humorous, their art is impressive and they have clever scripts and witty dialogue. The overall story is also good for both -cliched but in a tongue in cheek way that makes them sound like a favorite fairy tale. Lint actually starts with sketches and handwritten dialogue but the artist evolved fast and the humor keeps you going easily till you reach the glossy pages.

Tozo at tozocomic.com has an entertaining story and beautiful Tin Tin style art, and Wooden Rose at http://www.woodenrosecomic.com has a beautiful Victorian concept and enjoyable art.

Sinfest (http://www.sinfest.net) sounds like something not safe for work but in reality it is a very funny, sweet and clever commentary on love, sex and the spiritual life. When Buddha, the devil and Christ are racing each other while God is mediating, you know something good is going on! Not easy to describe so take a look :-) .

And of course Flipside remains a great comic -even though it is a manga. We will make this concession to the enemy :na:.

This is a suggestion i am not making light heartedly as it is an all kind of dirty, pornographic and pervertedly funny fantasy webcomic. Do not be dissapointed by the glitzy server.

I read the webcomics on that site too. It has a decent selection, even if quite a few of them have been on hiatus for years, some of them still update regularly - and they're pretty good. Any one whos a fan of Zombies, Anime/manga, Fairytales/Fantasy, 90's/early 00's cartoon shows, or popular culture in general will find the webcomic's there appealing.

I second (third and so on...) Darths&Droids, OOTS (they led me here), Girl Genius, No rest for the wicked (but the lack of updates will break your heart) and many more.
What would be to add (if I haven't overlooked it):

Dork Tower - the classic one
Footloose - sounds like a dance movie, but is a comic about a One-quarter-Nymphe/One-quarter-Werewolf/Half-Human student who's mastering the fine arts of Kung-shoe.

Randy's universe (comics that I read before I even knew sp and later had sp-crossovers):
Girls with slingshots - yey for McPedro
Penny and Aggie - a high school comic that gets under your skin when you least expect it, very professional writing
Queen of Wands - over but never forgotten

Other non-gaming/fantasy comics:
PHD Comics - because it's true
Shrub Monkeys - she's like the sister I never had

Some DeviantArt-Artists whose comics made me smile:
Aimo - the most devoted and talented DragonAge fan I've ever seen
Rufftoon - the legend, draws avatar the airbender comics. First as a fan and than as part of the official team

To be continued...

No Darths and Droids?

They just finished the second movie, btw. Good time to jump in for new readers.

Never really enjoyed "Darths and Droids". Not only did it start of as a less-funny version of "DM of the Rings", but it went on....and on.... and on.... and on... and on....
And it's still dragging, apparently.

The little sister playing Jar Jar was amusing. But other than that... meh.

The sad thing is that it makes more sense than the movies.
