So, to fill in a little of what's been going on since Rancourt and I disappeared...

I've been told for years that I have a voice well-suited to radio. After getting into a fandom with stars who were very active with their followers, one of the cast (a highly-regarded stage-actor in Vienna) greeted me on a Google Hangout with, "Where have you been with that voice?!"

So I'm finally getting a start in voice acting.

I took a stab at putting together my own podcast, and was less than happy with my ability to write for myself. So I threw my name into the hat for auditions with a horror-centric podcast: think dramatic readings of Lovecraft, Poe, and original multi-episode works written by the producer.

I'd like to share it with you all, as I'm more than a little proud of myself, and feel that the podcast's producer does great work besides.

Shadowvane resides at https://shadowvane.net/.
I am one of three readers in episode 11, Death Poetry Part 2. I am also the narrator in episode 13, The Yellow Wallpaper. I have just today landed a minor part in their upcoming series, 1692: The Risen.

If vintage creepy stories are your thing, please do take a listen and let them know what you think!

I wonder how many of us are involved in the arts one way or another. I do support work for a lot of short films (we have three different competitions out here, one of which has drawn international attention on occasion). Heck, the winner from the last one is on Netflix now.

No, I didn't have anything to do with it. I just thought it was cool that a short film by a few kids from the Dakotas made Netflix.

I'll give those podcasts a listen sometime soon.

Okay yup. Leorin, you've got an excellent radio voice. If YAFGC were animated, I'd want to cast you as Maula Bloodhand. Possibly several characters.

Got T-Chall cast in my mind as several other characters. Sheesh, I've gotta get funding. I've got voices, the software... Just need time and motivation.

As Maula?! I'm honored! If the stars ever align, I'd be there with proverbial bells on!

I'm pretty sure Rancourt would be happy to help adorn you with literal bells, if it's needed.

Except that he's an audio engineer, and knows what literal bells would do to the recordings. We'll stick with the imaginary ones, thx.
