What if Cap'n Fang is actually a cunning strategist and eloquent speaker, who was polymorphed/cursed into his current nonsensical kobold self?

Nice one, but we still haven't seen a kobold that is much saner than Fang.
He probably just shallowed a Ring of improbable Luck +25 at some point.

Except that that's not enough.

I actually think that he's that class that gets to re-roll almost EVERY roll they make. It would make sense.

Fang's about the only kobold we've heard speak in the strip. One flunky reported to General Groph Plundercheeks, and then we had the extremely articulate Kobold Monk Whose Name Escapes Me Even Though I Just Looked Up The Strip.

Beyond that? Fang, Fang and more Fang. I'm hoping Rich gives us a flashback on him, just so we can try to figure out what is up with that lizard/rat/dog.

Well ... there was that one Kobold Monk who could talk straight and managed to survive being pushed off a mountain. And the little guy who cut Lucas out of the ettercap's web was eloquent enough, though terminally overconfident.

I recall a (very short lived) kobold who led a brave and idiotic kobold attack on a human town WAY back in the comic.
In fact, I've used him as my avatar.

aah Fang, i hope he pops up in the comic soon, feels like we haven't seen him in ages

i once started doodling a picture of the good Cpt in History. My friend lent over and asked why on earth i was drawing the history teacher. I almost peed myself with laughter. Now i REALLY want Cpt Fang as a Teacher. Imagine all the wisdom he would impart. :mrgreen:
