For some reason I can't get the automatic login function to work. So you think its a browser (Firefox) issue or something on your end? :?:

It works like it always did for me. Check your cookie settings.

Nuts, I'm having a problem with Firefox as well and I checked my Cookies (yep, accept them even from 3rd parties and keep them until they expire). However, each time I log in (I'm on IE now, blergh) it shows me logged in until it automatically boots me back to the start page and then I'm not. Something is totally screwy. :BangHead:

That's really, really weird. I haven't made any changes to the forum or cookies of any kind in months. I'll wipe the various caches and see what happens.

I'm here for the first time in days, no problems. And with IE7, btw.

I use multiple browsers and have always had an easier time with this site using IE than Firefox.

Tho my browser security/cookie settings for this site were set as low as possible, I had that problem for a while where after a few posts the site would automatically log me out. (It's some anti-bot security). Interestingly enough one day my live anti-spyware protection program was overloaded and shut itself down, (worked fine after a reboot) - but while it was off I was able to stay logged in, and haven't had a problem since.

So check your anti-spyware programs in your security suite, try turning off live protection, log on, and then turn it on later. (It may not hurt to close your browser window before turning the live protection on , and then try bringing it up and see if it keeps you automatically logged in.)

Whatever was the problem with my log in, it's fixed. Thanks DM.

Anyone else been having problems staying logged in for the last half week or so?

*looks at last post dates on each forum*

I think I have an answer to that question.

I've had intermittent problems for a while.
