It was a comment about some dungeon masters that like/prefer/make the mistake (depends on the situation which one is correct here) to put in seemingly random monsters in their dungeon - a gelatinous cube living next to an ogre who lives next to a lich etc in a strip that was thematically about this. I don't remember the number of the strip, but if you've read DMoTR before you should be able to find it. If you haven't, then I'm sure you'll enjoy reading it. In fact, I'd bet you'd read it all for under 3 days - I had quite a few genuine laughs and giggles and I've never had the chance to participate in table top D&D, I just have an idea of what it's like from the Internet.

And btw, we're neighbors in a way, I'm Bulgarian.

Well, i think it must have been my comment :-) . I only come in this forum, but i did read DM of the Rings and when someone mentioned that there should be a comic about monsters in dungeons i could not help but post a link. First and last time i did that.
Nice to meet a neighbor by the way  .

Thank you :)

What was the chance of all that happening really, one of the few times that you leave a comment on a different forum, it brings a new reader!

Carl Jung and his synchronicity theory would be proud of us :-) .

Heeeey, I should probably introduce myself here. heh, sorry, but I've been reading the Storyline forums alone pretty much up 'till now. I just love seeing what other people have to say about the strips.

I'm caldur. I'm a minnesnowtan, graduate student, avid fantasy fan, and I've only actually played DnD once in my life (it was a strange, subterfuge kinda game where the DM took all of us aside and assigned each of us secret roles we weren't allowed to reveal to each other). I was actually the kingdom's missing prince! but everyone else thought I was the ursurper, so the party's wizard killed me :x

I've been hooked on anything DnD ever since.

Hey together,

I couldn't resist to set my first post here

I'm Jörg from Germany and read the comic every day. It's a really funny and interesting comic, which I never thought, when I started reading it.

Thanks a lot for YAFGC.

Jörg

PS: Sorry for my bad english  I hope you understand it just a little bit

Well I have to admit that I feel like a moron that I have been on the forums since Dec 20 of 2009 and I have just noticed this introduction thread. Almost 250 posts and I just noticed something; I must be getting a bit daft. My name is Mark (I know DUH) I am living in Florida, U.S.A. (had to put that because I am not sure if there is another Florida somewhere else in the world  . I don’t want to be that guy that says that they are from my neighbor state Georgia, and get surprised that it could mean in Eastern Europe). As my profile states I list my occupation as writer, dreamer, worker. This means that I have an office job and hope to one day actually finish writing one of the many ideas that I have been scribbling in notebooks and such in my 40 years. As some may have noticed from my other posts I have a strong interest in fantasy, psychology, history and sociology. I also am a strong believer in creative thought and the nurturing of it. (I guess I should find an artist out there and form a nice batch of comics some day) Any way, I just saw this thread (groan) and figured after al this time I should flesh my self out a little to the rest of the forum members. :Peace:

Yeah, I'd say Morgana's got you beat. ;) But I, too, missed this thread for... oh, I dunno, over a hundred posts, at least. Nice to "meet" you anyway!

Likewise, nice to meet you, maark. And definitely, don't worry about being late. I'm like Morgana, I haven't introduced myself yet, either. :)

I just realized this thread was here too, so figured I should say hello!

I was a Ten Doctors Fan first, then was drawn to see what else was being created. I was hooked - spent two nights straight waiting for my crappy computer to load up the comic so I could get it all in one go!

I'm a fantasy/sci-fi addict. Grew up on the stuff, and while I wasn't rping until college, I jumped in feet first. Got to admit - I'm a bit more of a MUSHer than a table top person, but it's all good.

Right now I'm working on a few projects. Helped create my very first youtube.com video as part of a work thing. Heh. The thread said I could put in a URL so...might as well!

Other than that - not much. Good to meet you all!
