You are right! I would delete it but i do not know if it will end deleting both posts. Any help from the Administrator on that?

Don't worry about it - deleting one post will not (should not!) delete anything else around it - it just means you hit 'submit' more than once, or there was a server burp that thought you did. But if you delete it now, then the next four posts won't make any sense. :P

What was the name of those creatures that grew on the ceiling in a giant square, had skin that looked like stone, and would drop on you and envelop you?

That's one specialized lifeform, let me tell you.

D&D had lots of weird specialists like that, like the piercer, who looked just like a stalactite but would drop on you in order to impale u and drink your blood. God knows how they got back to the ceiling.

And wasn't there a stump monster with tentacles that had a fake bunny rabbit sitting on its head?

I believe that was called a "Lurker Above".

I think they crawled. Very very slowly.

The "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing".

Three words:

Giant...Space...Hamsters.

Getting hamster spit out of leather armor when you've been stuffed in a cheek pouch for several hours...NOT FUN DAMMIT!

And that hamster LIKED me!

I thought they were called piercers...I remember using them on a rather stupid, and greedy party

Hah! Yeah, the "flumph". Sort of a weird jelly-fish thing that gulps air with a mouth at the top and jets it out the bottom to float. Has all these little tentacles.

One of the really weirdest creatures ever created for the game and one can't imagine what use it would be to a GM except as a random and really weird encounter.

Well, the only thing I ever heared of the Flumph is form the Dungeon magazine (and after that I recognized it in Order of the Stick ^^) in a pretty pretty weird but funny sounding adventure. Poor luckless bastards, thes Flumphs.

*cough* nothing special or strange, but one of my favoit monsters is the hydra... Your can never fail with a hydra of some sort. Especially not with the Thessalian one.

I don't know why, but I always kind of assumed your favorite monster was the Peryton.

Oh, and the Flumph appears in one of the 1st Edition monster books "Fiend Folio" along with some of the other all-time weird monsters. There were 3 monster books in 1st ed. "Monster Manual", "Fiend Folio" and "Monster Manual II".
