Now that Sid has moved into the limelight, it seems somewhat odd that we don't have a thread for her. After all, she's not Astrid, by any stretch.

Now Sid is dealing with the one person who likely hasn't actually met her up to this point. And, unlike her dragon-chopping "alter ego," Sid has no reason to be threatened by the idea of a marriage. Honestly, she seems a bit flattered. This could be interesting. I think that Eddie might actually get that connection to another kingdom that he's after.

I like her a lot, but i stand by Clover's pronouncement of her as not the sharpest of ladies...
She wants romantic love so much the thought overshadows all the rest.

I think she's been pretty much brainwashed by the troubadour tradition, to the point I'm not sure if she recognizes that the world doesn't work that way.

Maybe we should send her a case of Chick Lit. Or a copy of The Feminine Mystique.

Just avoid Twilight.

Just as a side note, since obviously Rich isn't going by any kind of official game rules, and will change things up as he sees fit for the comic... when I played her in Pendragon, both rolled-stat wise and in actual play, Sid was very beautiful, very earnest, *very* loyal, and not especially bright. So far, he's right on the money.

What was her Woman's Gift? (Out of random curiosity.)

I can't remember the exact term (book's downstairs), but it was the animal friendship/animal whisperer Gift - it's how she ended up a falconer.

Ah... Good with Animals. +10 to Ride and Hawking. Nice. She'd have been handing folks their heads in falconry contests. This also explains why Francis reacted so badly to Astrid. She couldn't get anywhere near Sidonie's league with an engraved invitation.

Since she is also an excellent archer and can throw a punch like the best, maybe her identity mixup will take a bit longer to unravel.
