True, but people find ways to cope. :) Besides, she said earlier in the thread that twins ran in the family! ;)

That's true, it does. We've got identical and fraternal sets on both sides of the family. But so far so good, we've only got evidence of one.

That's probably just as well. Multiple pregnancies are no cakewalk (speaking from experience)!

Thanks, everyone! I'm still quite sick, unfortunately, but alive enough to play catch up on a few things, message board included... flu sucks, let me just get that out there now. :P

But yes; Rich is right. One heartbeat, no twins. Thank GOD. I'm already the size now at 20 weeks that I was with Jenny at 30 or so. With twins I'd need a winch to get me out of bed in the mornings. We're all doing well, and we'll be finding out the sex in mid-April, so don't ask now. :P

And now, to 8000 backlogged emails...

Glad to hear you're doing well! Just to keep it in perspective, I was just reading an article on a woman with dwarfism who carried a normal baby to term. They ended with the point that equivalent measurement would have been a 5' 2" woman carrying 4' kid!

Though frankly, I think I'm underestimating the kid's size. That woman was a freakin' heroine - or a dedicated masochist!

Well, it's not like they've been advertising her condition.

Yes indeed! A hearty congratulations to DM and BK, and to the new big sister. :) I...fear I'm out of words. The picture of young master Alex in his father's arms says it all so much better than I ever could.

Congratulations on the new little boy!

But be sure to tell him to watch out for the curly-haired pirate girl. She'll sell him to the Gypsies if she gets half a chance. :)

HAHA! Awesome! So far I think she's grooming him to be loyal crew.
