Happy Birthday, Rancourt. Seems all the best people were born in March.

Hm I don't see birthdays listed anywhere. Can it mean someone on a FGC forum actually has some friends?

Happy Birthday Rancourt!

:choccake: :choccake: :sundae: :gift:

Hope it's fun, well thought out and fairly structured under it's rambling guise, and full of substance in it's own original style and fashion.

Thank you! It was a lovely if long day. Up before dawn for a visit to the medical center, followed by a worker's breakfast in the Cuban neighborhood of old Tampa with Leorin, a quiet afternoon while Leorin and Ming napped together, and an evening on the shore of Lake Mirror, visiting over steak and mushrooms. I was, by some small miracle, able to help T-Chall with a minor technical problem, which was also a cause for celebration.

Really made my day to be so heartily celebrated here. Thank you all again!

Rancourt, it wasn't due to any small miracle it was entirely due to you knowing how the gadget worked. Thank you, again, for all your help.

Warmest wishes and all the best,
T'Chall

Was the gadget something awesome, like a baloon, a mechanical duck or a steam drake?

A trip to Ybor City? Sounds like fun!

Tampa has some really great spots! Didn't get there much, mainly on school trips and special occasions, mostly stuck in Clearwater and Largo - beauuutiful beaches, tho - and it's been quite a while since I've lived in Florida, let alone had that kind of abandoned FUN. Ah, well.

Hope it was some great birthday antics, and plenty more afterward!

Yes indeed! There's a best-kept-secret on Columbus near 50th called Brocato's, the breakfast and lunch stop of many a hungry local. We hit the road just before dawn, watched the sun rise behind us. In case you're curious:

Breakfast consisted of a cafe con leche, a wax-paper-wrapped side of Cuban bread, and what they call an omelet, more a sort of immense skillet scramble of eggs, peppers, onions, cheese, and one's protein of choice. It served as lunch, too.

We live way out from the city (south of Lakeland), so trips into Ybor for breakfast are fairly uncommon, but delightful just the same.

As for guesses and gadgets, I shall defer to T-Chall, as said gadget is his, but if we ask very nicely, he might share some of the art he's made with it!
