Okay sorry for the double post again, but considering it's near the end of the Doctor Who/Jem crossover run; I hope Rich doesn't mind me giving him ideas for future crossover comics with Doctor Who.

Perhaps the Fourth Doctor, K9 and Romana (or Leela, or Nyssa, Adric and Tegan) in Happy Days? The Seventh Doctor and Ace in The Real Ghostbusters? Or maybe The Eighth Doctor meets the cast of Bonkers or better yet, Gargoyles?

I don't mind you suggesting things. But I've got a list of things I intend to do that I started a long time ago and it fills a few pages of a sketchbook.

Considering I was working on a throwaway joke story for about a year, I wouldn't hold your breath about my getting around to considering anyone else's ideas any time soon if I were you.

Corollary: Unless you're offering money. Then I consider more carefully.

Maybe even The Sixth Doctor in Cardcaptor Sakura.

I see any kinda "Cardcaptor" crossover as being with "Sarah Jane Adventures" rather than "Dr. Who" directly, but that's m.h.o.

Getting away from Japanese animation, how's about "DuckTales" (or simply straight-up Carl Barks' world of Uncle Scrooge)? The original TARDIS crew would work, with the First Doctor/Bill Hartnell as a perfect foil to the penny-pinching mallard.

Just as long as the Doc and company inexplicably find that they've become furries themselves once they land in Duckburg.

If we're going to make them furries - they should be the main characters. Hartnell is Uncle Scrooge, Ian Donald Duck and Barbara Daisy Duck - Susan an unseen niece, I suppose, unless she ends up as one of the three nephews. But I could see her and the nephews getting into a whole lot of trouble as Daisy gasps, and Donald pushes and shoves Uncle Scrooge into action to help him save them.

I'm sorry, I guess my post wasn't clear enough. The idea was that the First Doctor and the original crew wind up in Ducksberg and, for whatever reason, become 'toon animal-people themselves (and much to their bewilderment, too). They don't merge Quantum Leap-ishly with the pre-existing Barks cast. In fact, my mentioning of Hartnell's Doctor as a foil for Uncle Scrooge was indicative that the two would get on each other's nerves and sling incessant verbal jabs at one another.

It's all moot anyway... Disney's so lawsuit-happy, there's not even a Rifftrax for Splash out there. No way is Rich going to take his life into his hands over such a thing.

That, and I don't think he ever watched Ducktales.

Law and Order (U.K. or not is up to you.)

Getting away from fanboy geekiness for a bit, I think that the implications of Time Travel on a police procedural would be pretty intense and well worth watching. Law and Order comes to mind, and not just because Freema Agyeman is on the U.K. cast, but any police procedural would be interesting, perhaps even more so if the boys in blue aren't entirely on the up-and-up.

A careless Companion could easily wreak all kinds of havoc through simply innocently making anachronistic statements about a crime. And for the police officers and prosecutors, the lure of time travel would be immense. Think of all the crimes that could be prevented, let alone solved, if one could go back in time. Surely it would be worth locking the Doctor's companion in a deep, dark cell somewhere in order to lever him (He's an Alien, for Pete's sake, how can you say that he has rights?) into using the TARDIS to do the right thing? Aren't all those lives worth taking a few years out of his travels? And that regeneration power! Think of all the suffering that could be alleviated if you could reboot people like that! It would only be a finger... surely he could just grow a new one...

Or maybe it would be just as interesting to have the Doctor arrive just in time to see the mess that well-meaning people have made from finding a way to access these things. Overpopulation, snarled timelines and the ultimate Orwellian police state - all with the best of intentions. Perhaps one of the District Attorneys/Crown Prosecutors comes to the Doctor and pleads to have it all just made the way it was again...

Law & Order meets Minority Report? I can get behind that.

If it's American L&O, please let it use some of the Special Victims Unit cast. The series and its characters have become so asininely emo, particular Chris Meloni's character, that a little of the Doctor's Columbo-meets-Poirot approach to crime investigation would be a much-needed refreshing albeit irritating splash of cold water for them.

Of course you know what would make this especially awesome -- have the Doctor actually fetch Columbo and Poirot to help with the case!

Well, that might help. Then again, anything with a bit of fun and mystery would help.

*does not like the endless police procedural shows*

I'm just waiting for the bit where Auric Goldfinger destroys the Cybermen singlehanded. Or singlefingered. Or something.

I read the latest crossover, unexpected but very good so far. And how about these ideas?

Sixth Doctor and the original Thundercats.
Eleventh Doctor and the new Thundercats.
Fifth Doctor and The Adventures of Gummi Bears.
Seventh Doctor and Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers.
Eighth Doctor and TaleSpin.
Ninth Doctor and Code Lyoko.
And the Tenth Doctor and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
