I love how the denizens of the mountain are so unrepentantly evil

Quick, stab your dad, it's the only way! Don't worry, it's cool, Jone did it!

No, Jone didn't.

Actually, I can't think of any character we've seen attack its father. Mother? Check. Siblings? Check. Children? Once or twice. Fathers? Nope.

A little projected self-preservation there, BK?

I wouldnt consider the Baron Lucas' father at that point. The Baron was an undead minion of Lewie's and wasn't himself.

You know, I didn't think people would be so nitpicky about my comment, which was made in jest.

Jone stabbed a parent, I'm encouraging this guy to stab a parent. Nothing but good things come of it!

Despite orcs being evil, I have always thought that orcs value courage in battle and not simply stabbing civilians or prisoners already rendered harmless by someone else. They may consider this fun, but such a kill definitely doesn't make a warior.

And since Ain seems relatively unagressive (as for an orc), I don't see any reason for him to stab his father instead.

Orcs are Chaotic Evil in general, that's the 'kill everyone whenever and however because it's fun' mindset. Naturally this comic gives them more depth but curturally that's still their basic behaviour.

If any race or community, real or imaginary, literally followed this principle, they wouldn't have existed for more than a few days. Apparently, orcs form families, war bands and monarchies. This means that they are able and willing to cooperate, e. g. to wreak greater havoc (that is both fun and profit). Still, whether Ain has a desire to kill his father or not, both of them probably understand that murdering harmless creatures does not make a warrior.

BTW, Bob the beholder, although named lawful evil, sometimes seems to be more chaotic than most orcs.

Nope, Goria's baby-daddy was The Fox. Wolf is someone else entirely. :P

Oops, yeah I ment the fox. Would be kinda funny if wolf was the father though. He's slept with just about everyone!

But you know they'd end up being called "Dorcs" and there would just be no respect.
