I just tried to keep them true to character. DM gets credit for all that.
I've included many of what one might call "other people's charactes" in YAFGC. This includes:
-RPG PCs and NPCs (DM's list above, the crew of the 'Celestial Raven' and all the people who showed up to visit the Halfling pirate Pado, the 'Al Qadim' party that get eaten by Turg just before he meets the Sphynx, Adwen the Cruel, Sir Aeden, Calliope, Midna and Saphia in "House of Paulus", and others)
-SCA personae or LARP characters (Freya, Baron Conrad and Cairn MacAllister, Kazumi the Royal Drow Poisoner)
-Variations of SCA personae (Jewel the Pocket Bard, Lady Marion of Heatherdale)
-Actual people (Thomas the Bard, Frank)
-Variations of actual people (Ben)
-Parodies of celebrities (The Ghosthunters, the American Idol judges)
-Characters from movies (Giacomo the Fool, most of the Barbarians)
For the record, I have a 'code' for using other peoples' characters in my comics. I don't do gratuitous nudity or sex scenes with them, kill them off or make them act deliberately out of character. Unless I have (a)express permission or instructions, or (b) it's inherently part of the character (I'm amazed I managed to do a whole "House of Paulus" story WITHOUT getting Saphia into a gratuitous nude or sex scene to be honest)
So all this to say that if you or your favorite character find yourself appearing in a YAFGC comic, rest assured that I won't be deliberately doing anything creepy with you.
