I think the beard makes Glon look both more like his dad... and like King Halvelock the Horrible.

Has the baby been named yet? ^_^
Interesting to see the ladies' different reactions... It seems at least two of them preferred him looking boyish. Maybe they liked it because then they could be more protective of him? No surprise that the scholarly one likes a man with a beard!

As a man raised by a man with a full beard, i must say that i approve. All dads should have full beards!

I just hope i can get one someday, my dad having one somehow gave me an innate respect for men with full beards

None of those things say "Now I am MAN!" like growing a beard does. In Medieval settings, anyway. ^_^
