Any race can break the system with Polymorph abuse. Some fairly obscure sources were used in crafting that abomination, and I think most dm's would laugh (or cry) at some of those rule interpretations.

I'm more after interesting and challenging ways to use Kobolds. I think all of the books I work from are listed at the start of this thread http://www.housetharashk.com/forums/sho ... php?t=1434 I coloured the book list. I already subject the players to an occasional trio of Goblin Ninjas I'm just wondering if Kobolds can be made to shine just as well.

Good heavens! my intentions were never to suggest using Pun Pun! No self respecting DM (or player for that matter) will allow this abomination.

I've personally never played Kobolds, and so don't have any experience to share. (Traded trinkets with them a few times though, they are fun as comic relief in D&D campaigns!)

I wonder where Fang will end up now that he's been cast overboard. Maybe he'll randomly wander into the caves and pick up Lewie's ring :D lol.....

I totally sympathized with the crew....

The ring only works on people with at least half a brain, and i think that what Fang has inside his head qualifies for -1 when brain-counting...
Still, the possibilities are endless...

Once as a GM in ad&d, i hade the party join forces with kobold elite soldiers, well "elite" meant that they knew whitch end of the sword to stab with!

We actually say 'that was like killing a kobold with a fireball' to signify that something is an overkill. It is derived from an actual pissed PC who had had one random encounter too many :D .
And the poor kobold was only sneaking past them to avoid the angry orc pack that was following... .

Cap'n Fang reminds me so much of all the sergeants I had while I was in the army...

Fang, you are to be truely feared.

With Cap'n Fang-esque sergeants in it, I think the army is to be feared more.
