Eeeep. The idea of indirectly romancing all your players is weird...i think i will have a vodka too!

Wow, that went in a weird direction. I've had PC/NPC romances in piles of games in the past, from both sides (player and GM)... does that mean I've romanced half of my friends? Or how about PC/PC romances? :confused2:

GAME = GAME. LIFE = LIFE. IF GAME = LIFE, SEE THERAPIST.

Maybe, maybe not. There are times when it's healthy to work through a situation as Sir Mirrek of the Mallet instead of as yourself.

Well, in my group we had two romances starting as in game relationships, but i do not think it was intentional. More like tension that found a way out in the game first, before you found the guts to pursue it for real. But they were 2 instances in six years of gaming, and during these years we had countless in game romances, sexual encounters etc, which meant nothing outside the game.

Gaming troupes would be like the set of a soap opera if any of that was for real.

In the case with Sir Mirrek, the guy was trying to work through the ethics of whether or not to report one of his better friends for peddling meth to the local school kids. But I've heard or read of other cases, involving issues as varied as dealing with the news you were adopted after finding out your family's been lying to your face for over three decades to rape and abuse victims getting a little catharsis. Heck, you can find a couple of those stories every time someone brings up adult content on Tabletop Open.

Strangely enough, O'Malley never had to decide in real life. Remember the strip with Gruumsh and Ch'Thier arguing over Glon, and they 'solved' the problem by chucking him back to the Black Mountain to make his own decision? Same thing. Except in this case, the 'friend' in question managed a trip to the ER with about eighteen ounces of meth in his pockets.

I doubt if Ch'Thier would be happy with her priestesses in this instant...
I mean yes, they did help her financially but the seem to be taking the Law thing so far it actually turns into Evil.
