Neither of them has to remember the other for interesting possibilities to occur—simply because the Genie is what he is, and the lamp is within touching distance……
1. Genie is now free.
2. Genie owes sombody three wishes, so the first person to pounce on the opportunity gets the spoils.
3. Genie can only receive wishes from the lamp-rubber, and now is some kind of trapped/inert, unless a necromancer revives the minion.
A. Lamp has been flattened into the sand, is still intact.
B. Lamp is flattened, but, being magical, can still contain the genie.
C. Lamp is destroyed, genie can no longer be contained.
At the intersections of these possibilities rests an entire anthology worth of short stories.
Also, the genie is so stupid that he can’t count to three, so anyone who gets the lamp (if it still exists) gets infinite wishes… as interpreted by extreme stupidity.
This right here is what makes web comics so much better than ‘traditional’ comics: the interaction and immediate feedback
Instead of in the past where feedback could take months to reach the creator(s) and more months for any changes based on the feedback, with webics the whole thing can be done in days
It is not an inherent good that comics – nor indeed any art form – change with audience feedback. Such changes are more often detrimental, by an overwhelming margin.
That being said, if Richard gets inspired by something I’ve written, I’m proud and thrilled.
Constant change due to audience feedback is the sign of a lousy creator, but changes due to typoes being spotted or art-errors is a good thing (the latest "GrrlPower" had a piece of ‘recycled art’ that included Sydney’s balls even though she was in another part of the building, it was quickly spotted and the artist was able to fix it within minutes)
Another artist was about to introduce a couple new minor characters, and he not only named one of them after me, but he changed his look and weapon of choice based on personal weapon preference
Do realise that it’s not all good, but the positive does tend to outweigh the negative, most times
But, sometimes, a creator will make changes to the story based on feedback, or at least comments made, but usually just small things and something they were considering doing anyway
Ohh! MYYYY!!! Just came across a hot hentai image of Slissybus, William the Barbarian and Slissy!!!!!! And oddly enough, it was Slissy getting the action and Slissybus looking on curiously o_O
Believe it may be the first fanart have seen so far, certainly first of some ‘intimate’ action O-O
The characters of Slissy, Slissybus and William the Barbarian are NOT my creation. They were guest characters, along with the rest of that party, the ninja and the paladin, from some D&D playing readers. Artwork of them existed for some time before their appearances in YAFGC. In fact, they were used as references for their appearances here.
Slissy belongs to Deniya (http://deniya.deviantart.com/).
That being said, there is some YAFGC fanart out there. Drawings, paintings, sculptures, plushies and even cosplay has been done for YAFGC. I used to have a gallery, must see about getting it back up. But do a quick search and you’ll find some. Check out Deviant Art, for example….

Oh right, remember that, believe even had a quick browse through Deniya’s dA account at the time
Didn’t mean to imply anything, was just surprised to see them, and more a case of "look what I found, check it out!" rather than "someone is posting hentai of your characters!! stop them!!!" (this was on "Hentai Foundry" by the way, drawn by someone called ‘Ocidias’ and mention them being YAFGC characters and links to their first appearance on page 2688)
Not the Genie’s fault… _this_ time 😛
Hmm, just how close is the desert to Elegrost? Or does not-Godzilla just move rilly rilly fast? o_O
from what i can tell i think there are more then one
The genie and Charlotte are back together again?
Uh-ohhhhhh……..
Neither will remember ever meeting before: Genie because he’s, well, an idiot, and Charlie because she has a nasty little squatter in her head-sack
Neither of them has to remember the other for interesting possibilities to occur—simply because the Genie is what he is, and the lamp is within touching distance……
Yeah, you can’t blame that on the Genie…
Didn’t Chimera have the lamp?
He lost it when Celena and her party invaded, the elf used it to meet up with her friends from school for an improv reunion (and then Kurassa got it)
Last seen here: http://yafgc.net/comic/2412-enforced-wish-granting/
Sooo…all the Not-Zilla has killed are;
Meegs Assistant
Kurassas (?) Assistant
Some suicidal elves (not yet confirmed)
=> Seems like it has a habit of steppin’ on other people assistants…
not-Zilla seriously needs to look where it’s stepping 😮
Well, maybe not so much as the other dinosaurs behind him…After all, *that’s* where you need to be watching your step or you wind up with messy feet.
My head is spinning from all the possibilities.
1. Genie is now free.
2. Genie owes sombody three wishes, so the first person to pounce on the opportunity gets the spoils.

And the strip was a good gag, too.
t!

Is he free, or is not-Zilla’s toe now rubbing the lamp?
Oooo, wonder what not-Zilla’s wish would be…
Hmmm…. and some of those possibilities I hadn’t previously considered… Will rethink the genie’s future for a bit here. Thank you!!!

I see what you’re getting at. Notwithstanding that I call those edits or corrections, and not changes, we agree on it.

Yeah, edits slash corrections, not changes
But, sometimes, a creator will make changes to the story based on feedback, or at least comments made, but usually just small things and something they were considering doing anyway
The lamp could have been knocked away, too… possibly.
I kinda think he had that coming for not using the geenie to do something about the lizard while it was destroying the city.
Just sayin’.
Love the pun.

This isn’t even the first time we’ve seen the hunchback…
Well, it is the first time we’ve *seen* him. Still, I wasn’t expecting that one at all.
Not quite, he first showed up in 2305, but we didn’t get to see him until 2411 & 2412 (his last appearance)
