Not all Gorgons/Medusa are Rannites… pretty sure a natural born Medusa would be pissed off if they found out about that potion/spell.
The stone gaze was likely used as a defense against the intruders to her lair.
Well, damn… Let’s just hope, when all is said, done, and over with, someone knows stone-to-flesh. I am rather fond of those two, and I don’t think they had even met Glon’s kids yet. Now we’ll really see what Charles is made of.
A reference to Glon’s dead fourth wife, Jone’s mother, Goria WhiteEye I believe. And it might, if he knew, but he is headed the other direction now, so unless Charles can catch up with him… Also, not quite sure what good berserk would do against a Gorgon, Rannite or not.
Too bad really, I wanted to see Lucas have to go werewolf at some point in this.
Oh right, and even commented on that page 🙁
(seems to be a recurring theme: mention not remembering something, someone posts a link to the page, and it turns out one of the comments on that page was from me)
If Lucas is dead does that make Glon his heir? Or if there’s rules about not ruling parts of the mountain and part of the kingdom maybe Glon can have one of his children become the duke, a niece or nephew can be an heir.
Not listed as being Aggie, so, a Wild Gorgon appears, she uses Stone Gaze, it was Very Effective
No one had died yet on this Adventure, and now this happening to The Cad? Makes me all tingly inside 😀
Well, stoned doesn’t mean dead. Bob stoned Rehan and he survived.
*innocently whistles as pushes the garden ornaments over the edge
Oops! >:}
Oh, that’s good. That means Bob probably has the power to revert it.
Oh F…. 🙁
Way to go Cad, you just told the Bad Guys that there is someone else out there

Gorgons are still Bad Guys
So are orcs, drow, minotaurs, harpies, goblins, beholders, mind flayers, gnolls, liches, bugbears, trolls…
Think I just covered 90% of the protagonists in this series.
Don’t forget elves (those woodies are real bad guys) and humans
But yeah, that was the point: gorgon’s don’t have to be Rancid to want to stone some elves and hoo-mons

Caelin always seemed to be a bit useless to me, looking forward to seeing _him_ step up
Lucas has access to at least two high-level wizards and a beholder. Too bad, all of them are rather far from his present position.
Feel free to change that to ‘twit’
Only know of one, and he is a senile old twit, who is the other one?
I guess Meegs is of high enough level to cast Stone to Flesh.
Wasn’t sure if she was considered a _high-level_ wizard, although she has shown more competence than Eddy…
Hmm, with (un)Lucky Luke stoned while in office, does that mean that Glon would be the new Baron? He _is_ the old Baron’s real blood-son after all
Cadugan’s little brother, Charles I think?
But would the brother of the spouse trump the child of the former Baron?
Killing one of his wives sends Glon into berzerker mode. I wonder if petrifying his brother will do the same.
Wait, what? o_O

Remembered Goria dying, just don’t remember him going all emo-ragey over it

By plot logic, that may be why it was necessary for Glon to leave them before this point…
When they said "I wanna Rock" that’s NOT what they meant!
Everybods must get stoned!
If Lucas is dead does that make Glon his heir? Or if there’s rules about not ruling parts of the mountain and part of the kingdom maybe Glon can have one of his children become the duke, a niece or nephew can be an heir.
Asked that question as well 😀
Holy shit!
And the thing is, I believe your romantic soul might leave them like that, locked in eternal embrace.
She looks so pleased with the results, like an art teacher inspecting a child’s finger painting.
t!
nopenopenope
That's weird. Lucas had time to turn around before getting stoned? I thought that it was instant?
