This… will be interesting 😀
3rd panel: "Target… Locked!" 😀
As if Hank knew what to do with a girl.
I have a feeling they need a survivalist gnome for that train. No one else is really much into technology in this world.
How is a survivalist anything going to help repair a train?
And it depends on what you consider ‘technology’, they _do_ have cannons and blacksmiths and carriages, they are not _that_ far behind the level that saw the production of steam engines, but with magic they never saw the need (same how with oil and gasoline, the driving need for a better alternative in _our_ world is not as strong as the oil barons’ greed and influence)
Um, I was referring to Gummer Groundpounder, gnome survivalist.
Start here:

He was also involved in, and the cause of, a whopping big explosion during, the Night Queen chapter. While his showing up usually presages explosions, he can be a handy guy, and if anyone can figure out their locomotive, it would probably be him.
He was last seen heading off for some place called Meadow-Mill with the thought that Glon and Lucas’s adventuring party was far too dangerous to hang around with. *chuckle*
Oh, and Gaggia knows about him, as she was there for the Night Queen adventure.
Yeah, but he’s a survivalist gnome, not a tinkerer gnome, he knows how to survive by blowing the things that would kill him up
Tinker gnome with access to an interdimensional locomotive…
Nothing could *possibly* go wrong…
Then I thought of Captain Fang getting … involved.
Fang: "the capital of North Dakota is Bismarck!"
Nah, more like "The capital of North Dakota is Pomegranate!"
The thing is.. tracks. It needs tracks. What good will repairing the engine do if the rails are missing. That entire train of thought is about to be derailed.
That’s a good point!
On the other hand, there is virtue in the One Thing At A Time approach.
t!
"Tracks? We don’t _need_ tracks!"
