on February 13, 2017
Chapter: Yet Another Fantasy Gamer Crossover
Characters: Gertrude, Handler, Hank, Maula Bloodhand, Mike the Microraptor, Princess Gaggia Shadowtalker, Scale, Sir Idries of Falconheim, Stonebeard Dwarf Engineer
Location: The Ancient Ruins
This was Plan B. They couldn’t find a friendly giant.
Could have made some tracks… Or use *magic*
But, Dwarven "magic" is a waste of "good" ale, no matter how good it is as rocket fuel.
Then there’s the whole, magic is beginning to fade thing… Or is that not happening yet? Either way, this seems more Gnomish than Dwarvish!
Dwarves? I certainly can not remember Dwarves existing in the YAFGC World.
Color me suprised.
??? Really? Like Sarge, leader of Glon’s army unit? Or Ben, Lady Marion of Heatherdale’s travelling companion? There’s been a few.
Refresh my memory – was the Michael Gross tribute a Dwarf, Gnome… ?
t!
Gummer Groundpounder is a Gnome. π
G’wan.
t!
Not to mention Hoz.
They just prefer to lay low…
This idea has the Wile E. Coyote seal of approval.
…And the Acme Corp. endorsement for advertising.
"Where we are going we don’t need tracks."
Exactly what popped in my mind as well! π
Little known fact: the Dwarves in YAFGC are actually escapees from Oglaf. Rich just censors out their more, uh … interesting … activities & inventions.
They’re aiming the train at a naked female giant?
Sure, why not?
[i understood that reference.gif]
It seems this subplot is finally coming to an end – and with Lord Trahl Alla’a dead or "stoned" permanently (?), so does a major storyline for Cowboys and Crossovers. Now just to either repair Scale’s bracelet or randomly hop from world to world until they get back home.
Its over? They wish! π
Lord Trahl Allaβa was just a minor player, there’s still mischief afoot π
Hmm, Dr. Beckett learns by the end of the series that he always had the way (if not the will) to back home. They may not go where the want to go, but they will go where the need to go.
As we say in Spain: If it works is a good idea
If it doesn’t… blame someone else
They solved the problem! The fact that it may create other problems isn’t their… well…, you know…
Not a very dwarfy solution. No use of magma. No death traps. No architectural abominations.
That you can see.
+1 for Dwarf Fortress ref.
Well it is *A* solution.
No one said it was a *good* solution.
Hey, as long as it gets up to 88 mph…
Slingshot maneuvers are an honored tradition for time-travelling!
New game: Angry Trains.
