Kind’a thinking that Meegs will live through this storyline and remain a gorgon. Her alignment seems compatible enough already; she IS, after all, the apprentice of Eddie, who has demonstrated some very interesting ethics. No reason she couldn’t just be an insanely powerful mage-gorgon.
I mean, seriously. Put yourself into Meegs’ character for a moment. There is pretty much no downside to her current form, given her disposition and appetites. I can barely imagine her even attempting to find a cure, other than pure academic curiosity and no intention to use it other than as a necessity if that time ever comes.
I’d already come to the conclusion myself that Meegs would be fine with remaining a Gorgon. She’ll want rid of control by Ranna sure, but after that what’s wrong with snakes for hair? And clearly Meegs spectales are enough for her not to turn people to stone, so where is the problem?
Not hard headed, more like, not wanting to pull more people he cares about into this mess. While I can see why it can be considered hard headed, is it really?
I’m getting a vibe more along the line that he’s been instructed to do something so evil that even a beholder is getting a queasy stomach. I think he’s so ashamed of his mission that he’s very interested in not having any witnesses … and he’s already wondering how he’s going to live with himself afterward. And Gren. Pretty sure this is looking so horrible that even she might choose death rather than be saved in this way.
Option 1 that comes to mind: destroy the Resistance, which includes everyone that Bob knows who is still alive. I’ll except Jone from that since, for some reason, she seems to have escaped Ranna’s notice so far. Option 2 is destroy Ch’thier’s body. Option 3 is All Of The Above.
And still … what assurance does he have that Gren will be released unharmed?
I will always love what you do with Bob’s ‘extra’ eyes.
Bashful & defeated in the first panel, goal-directed in the second, they tell a different but complementary story to what’s going on in the foreground.
t!
The best thing Bob could do is playing double agent.
Giving Grell information on what’s going on, so he could think soemthing up to help him out.
But he’s probably not thinking that far.
Is Meegs magically cured of Gorgonism now then?
Probably not. As far as we know, she’s just stunned.

Bob is being hard headed again.
