To be honest, the only Rannit priestesses that would even get close to being redeeemed would be the ones changed unwillingly. Even then it would depend on how thorough the brainwashing was and how repentant they feel. Natural gorgons like these three deserve to suffer in the same Hell Ranna will hopefully end up in.
Yeah, it’s important to distinguish between actual Gorgons and converted priestesses. These Gorgons won’t and can’t be "redeemed" like Meegs could because they really aren’t doing anything drastically different from before. They just have better means. They’d have to defy their inherent nature, as opposed to reverting to their original personality.
Exactly, when I said ‘The gorgons had no distinct personality’ what I was referring to were the converted priestesses. For as much as the characters in the comic are ‘monsters’ in the physical sense, Rich always made them ‘human’ in terms of having distinct personality not always representative of their traditional outlook in fantasy. Which is why I found it odd that the converted priestesses ALL have the same basic personality as Ranna (decietful, treacherous, and sadistic), suggesting to me that they’re basically being puppeted by Ranna and the person is NOT in control.
Yep. These Gorgons actually stand out for having real personalities. The Rannite Priestesses are definitely under Ranna’s influence and therefore all just her avatars.
I would find sending Ranna to hell shortsighted. She could return. I would recommend total destruction. Sword of cold, dark void, free yourself from heavens’ bond …
Well I meant ‘Hell’ as in a generic horrible place to be. There’s a great many things I’d want to happen to Ranna but it’s unhealthy to dwell on such thoughts…let alone list them.
Kudos to Rich for making such a detestable villain though.
Doesn’t matter how generic or how horrible. While places like "void" or "chaos" sounds usable, in this case I would abandon revenge and simply make sure she isn’t.
Nah, destruction is too good for her. Too quick. She needs to be punished for everything she’s done, completely drained of power and trapped forever in a lightless void maybe?
Remember that one gorgon — Nelussa, according to the tags — who allied temporarily with a barbarian?

I really hope we see her again, and that she’s decided to stick it to the Rannites on general principles!
…It’s… getting harder to want to see any of the priestesses being redeemed, at this point.

Man, don’t you just *hate* it when a recipe calls for brain goo? What ever happened to good ol’ eye of newt?
That recipe…Somebody obviously put a lot of thought into how to make it work…
The pellet with the poison’s in the vessel with the pestle, the chalice from the palace has the brew that is true…
Until a breakage, then it became…
The pellet with the poison’s in the flagon with the dragon, the vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true!
Seems like a good time to remember this strip: http://yafgc.net/comic/1047-a-pair-with-flair/
Maybe they could get the brain goo from "Er… Abby someone."
t!
On the bright side, even if they could turn him back to living flesh they can’t use Lucas on acount of his being a werewolf.
If there’s a version of Ireland in the YAFGC world, maybe they could go there for it. It would be an errand goo brew.
This calls for an ancient Persian greeting:
"Burumtish."

Hmm. Kanona has nine snakes. The female minion Dynah has six. The male minion Pidao has seven. Do they gain another snake the higher up they go?
